Duties:

• Construct maintain and repair structures made of wood, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures as required.
• Prepare drawings and layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Supervise construction workers.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Repair and maintain wooden structures in industrial plants and mills.
• Install trim items such as doors, stairs, and hardware.
