Education : High School
Language : English
Experience : 1 to 2 years
Duties:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, position scraped or recyclable material and other heavy objects.
- Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, position, move or place equipment and materials.
- Perform pre-operational inspection, calculate crane capacities to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
- Operate overhead crane to lift, move and place materials.
- Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads.
- Maintain visual and radio contact with ground operators.
- Using lever and pedal controls efficiently.
- Inspect cranes for safety issues on a daily basis.
- Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes.
