Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: College/CEGEP
Experience: 2 years or more of work experience in a Construction supervisory or manageral role
Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Cellular phone
Work Location Information: Various locations, Relocation costs covered by employer
Personal Suitability: Team player, Organized, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility
Additional Skills: Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors, Read blueprint, schemas and drawings, Operate CADD and other computer software systems
Budgetary Responsibility: 0 - $100,000
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: MS Office
Specific Skills: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements, Select trade subcontractors and co-ordinate their activities, Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Work Setting: Residential construction
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate
