Zantingh Direct. is a family owned Canadian company that is focused on purchasing and sorting cull swine in order to meet customer requests, concluding with the shipment of pigs to meat packers. We are located at 4739 London Line Wyoming, Ontario.

Job description:

Zantingh Direct Inc. requires 2 full time permanent hog farm workers to assist in our daily operations.  As a Hog Farm Worker, the successful applicant's duties will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

Weighing hogs in and out of barns facilities;                                                     

Unloading and loading hogs to and from semi-trucks;                                                Tending to pigs, cleaning pens and barn yards;                                                          Operation and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment;                                  Following food safety and bio-security procedures

 

In seeking the most qualified indiviuals for the role, the sucessful applicant will possess the following job requirements:

Completion of secondary school is required;                                                              Relevant education related to farming or livestock will be considered an asset;          Minimum 1 year of previous work experience in hog and sow farming;                      Willingness to work in and outdoor and in a barn environment;                                    Willingness to work in a noisy, dusty environment;                                                    The position requires oral communicaiton of the English language as well as reading English text and numeracy 

The successful applicant will be compensated at $18 per hour, plus health benefits after 6 months.
