Job Responsibilities
Organize regional and divisional sales operations
Establish organizational policies and procedures in relation to sales
Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
Promoting the organization and products.
Managing employees, including sales team members
Researching ways to penetrate new markets
Determine strategic planning related to new product lines
Lead sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts
Training new employees to use company software and successful sales techniques
Analyzing sales statistics to determine the performances of different products and salespeople
Communicating with customers, department heads, and a variety of other individuals
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans
Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies
Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition
Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plans
Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and will document customer interactions
Prepare reporting as needed
Qualification
College/CEGEP with at least 5 years or more experience in sales
Candidate should have good interpersonal skills, should be able to read, write and communicate in English
Excellent leadership skills and experience setting sales goals
