Etobicoke, Ontario based family is looking for a caregiver to look after their three children aged approximately 9 year, 8 years and 5 at their home.

Job Title: Child Care Giver

Position: Permanent, Full-Time 40 hours/ week.

Vacancy: 1

Start Date: As soon as possible

Language: English

Education: Secondary (High) school Graduate Certification or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 to 12 months.

Wage: C$ 17/hour

Work Site Environment: Non-Smoking

Work Location: Employer’s home in Etobicoke, Ontario, M9V 1V8

Specific Skills

• Supervise and take care of children in employer’s home
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for both the children and may perform other housekeeping duties.
• Plan food as per the age groups.
• Give them food as advised by the parents.
• Maintain safe and healthy environment at home.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Keep records of daily activities and health activities of both the children.
• May have to accompany the parents for the doctor’s appointments.
• Engage them in reading, read out stories and make studying entertaining.
• Maintain safe and healthy environment at home.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
• Never leave the kids alone unsupervised.
• Perform light house hold duties like washing clothes of the children, making their room and bed.
