CHILD CARE PROVIDER
A private household situated in Surrey, BC, is looking to hire a Child Caregiver for their 1 year old son.
Location: #10566 159 Street, Surrey BC- V4N3J4, CANADA.
Position Title: Child Care Provider – Private Home (NOC 4411)
Wage: $16.50/hour; 40 to 50 hours per week
Overtime: $24.75/hour after 40 hours per week
Vacation Pay: Remuneration 4% Gross Pay
Vacancy: 1 position available
Anticipated Date: As soon as possible
Employment Terms: Full time and Permanent
Job requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Completion of Secondary (high) School, Completion of a training program in child care or a related field, First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training required.
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Personal Suitability: Initiative, Organized, Judgement, Flexibility, Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills,
Main Duties: Tend to emotional well-being of children, Bathe, dress and feed children, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for children, Help children with homework.
Specific Skills: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
Work Site Environment: Non-smoking
Work Setting: Employer's home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment
