Job Description:
Planet India Restaurant Ltd. required 2 Permanent and Full Time (40 hours a week) Cook (Indian Tandoori Cook) as soon as possible.

Requirements: Completion of secondary school may be an asset.

Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR

Completion of college or other program in cooking OR

Minimum 3 years’ experience in making Indian food dishes like tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, cheese tikka, chicken shisk kabab, tandoori prantha, tandoori naan, rashmi kabab, fish tikka paneer tikka etc.

Duties included:

• ·Prepare and cook all tandoori menu items currently listed or may come to existence.
• ·Slice and prepare raw food ingredients for future use.
• ·Ensure the Quality of food before it get served to the guests.
• ·Train and may help staff in preparation, cooking and handling food.
• ·Take proper care of clay oven and upraise management if any repair or upgrade is needed.
• ·Supervise helper and another kitchen staff as required.

Salary: $25.00 per hour (Depending upon experience and work Knowledge).
Basic knowledge of English is required and Oral Hindi or Punjabi is asset (as our Work Language is Hindi and Punjabi)
