Job Title: Cook (NOC 6322)
Job Type: Full Time/Permanent
Wage: $16/Hour - 40 Hours/Week

Education: Secondary school or equivalent
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Our Store is located at 372 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5G 2K9
Job Responsibilities:
 Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
 Prepare ingredients to use in cooking.
 Cook food in various utensils or grillers. Also, check food while cooking to stir or
turn
 Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
 Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
 Check quality of ingredients
 Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
 Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
 Oversee kitchen operations
 Clean kitchen and work area. Follow all required checklists and cleaning
schedules
 Assure the proper care and maintenance of all food service equipment; identify
equipment needs for food preparation and service
 May hire and train kitchen staff
 Other duties as required
Qualifications and Skills:
 At least 2 - 3 years related experience
 Secondary school or equivalent
 Excellent planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
 Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
 Ability to work independently and with team too
 Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities
 Have good communication skills
