Salary: $16.50 to $19.00 per hour for 40 hours (depending upon experience)

Remuneration and Benefits

Salary offered $16.50 to $19.00 per hour for 40 hours per week. Position is entitled to received 4% vacation pay of the gross salary each pay period. Overtime rate of 1.5 times the regular pay is applicable after 40 hours of work per week. Extended medical health benefits after 90 days of service.

We looking for 04 General labourer - manufacturing to offer permanent full-time career in Surrey, BC. As a General labourer - manufacturing you will perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Assist our workers such as cabinetmakers, carpenters, painters, supervisors,
  • Material handling, clean-up, packaging and other elemental activities in custom cabinets manufacturing warehouse
  • Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout warehouse manually or using powered equipment. Move, load, unlaod cabinets and furniture onto and off work trucks or vans
  • Check and weigh materials and products
  • Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
  • Clean work areas and equipment
  • Perform other labouring activities in the warehouse
  • Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods

Requirements

Education: No specific education requirements

Experience: No prior experience necessary. On the Job training will be provided

Language: Basic communication skills in English are required

Other: Physical strength is required for worker
