Position: Food Service Supervisor

NOC: 6311

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Vacancy: 2

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary:  C$18/ hour for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Education: completion of Secondary School required
Experience: 1 years minimum.

Food Service Supervisor (NOC: 6311) will have to perform all of these duties:

 

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of the kitchen staff that prepare, portion and serve foods.
• Assist all the foodservice employees and provide necessary training as per their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Perform regular investigation of tray assemble, dish room area, for cleanliness and proper operation of equipment.
• Perform regular investigation on regular basis and to oversee transaction to maintain product quality.
• Establish work schedules and procedures.
• Maintain a record of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Take steps to reduce wastage.
• Ensure that food and services meet quality control standards.
• Participate in planning menu’s and special weekend dishes.
• Ensure food is kept at proper temperature.       
• May need to address customer’s complains

Workers Supervised: Kitchen and food service helpers; Food and beverage servers

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; physically demanding; Standing for extended periods

Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people

Personal Suitability: Effective interpersonal skills; Flexibility; Team player; excellent oral communication; Client focus.
