1 Administrative Assistant required for construction company

Job details

Location: 8056 King George Blvd Suite 111, Surrey, BC, V3W 5B5

Salary: $23.25 / hour

Vacancies: 1

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail

Personal Suitability: Reliability, Organized

Area of Specialization: Correspondence, Reports and records, Invoices

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Word

Specific Skills: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences, Determine and establish office procedures and routines, Schedule and confirm appointments, Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, Answer electronic enquiries, Order office supplies and maintain inventory, Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents, Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information, Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services, Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence, Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures, Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met, Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures, Carry out administrative activities of establishment
