Job Title: Construction Helper (7611)

No of Vacancies: 04

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Business Address: 2860 Gardner pl. Abbotsford V2T 5E1 (candidates would be working at various location around lower mainland as per company contract)

Wage rate: $21.00 per hour for 40 hours per week

Education: High School

Experience: Experience an asset

Languages: Basic knowledge of English

Job Duties:

• Load and unload building materials, tools, machinery and other supplies, and move to work areas.
• Mix, pour and spread materials.
• Build and dismantle bracing, scaffolding, and temporary structures.
• Clean spills and place traffic control signs where appropriate.
• Clean sites and dispose all waste.
• Assist with operating, maintaining and repairing equipment.
• Tend or feed equipment used in construction.
• Regulate traffic and erect traffic signs.
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends.

Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.

Benefits: Medical insurance for first three months and relocation expenses will be covered by employer, if required.
