Job Duties:
Your employment designation would be “Non-Technical Project Manager”. As a Non-Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with clients to design, scope, and build highly complex integrated security projects. We will lean on you for operational leadership support so your ability to guide field staff through the project lifecycle will be important in achieving success in this role. You will work on a variety of projects in different industries. This position will challenge your abilities as a project management professional and help drive your career growth. Your ability to be creative in addressing complex issues and delivering solutions will serve you well in determining success in this role.
As a “Non-Technical Project Manager” you will be carrying out the following duties:
- Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget while maintaining the highest quality delivery for our clients
- Lead, guide, train, and mentor field and coordination staff
- Provide accurate financial reports for project performance and targets, including cost and revenue forecasting, accruals, billing, receivables and payables management, and working capital management
- Develop and manage schedules, resource plans, procurement, project commissioning, and risk mitigation strategies
- Control costs and maximize productivity through the implementation of best practices and standard processes
- Effectively manage and maintain all written and verbal project communications, both formal and informal
- Maintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns
- Develop relationships with subcontractors to build a pool of resources; manage a selection of subcontracts for projects, where required
- Proactively assess risks; ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Develop customer relationships supporting further business development
Job Requirements:
- Completion of a secondary school
- Should be a good team player
- Should possess excellent verbal and written communication
- Should be good with Microsoft Office applications
- Should be able to work independently without supervision
- Should have good leadership skills. Should be able to inspire, mentor and supervise staff
- Ability to deal well with a variety of people: clients, fellow employees and management
- Initiative, good judgment, and ability to make quick decisions under sometimes stressful conditions
