Position: Restaurant Manager
Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time (40hr/wk)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: C$27/hr/week

Language: English

Education: Completion of secondary school
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Location: 7213, Unit-B 120 Street, Delta, BC, V4C 6P5

Restaurant manager  (NOC 0631) will have to perform all of these duties:

  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing sanitation standards and procedures.
  •  Plan menus by consulting with the cooks; estimates food costs and profits; adjust menus.
  • Monitor food, presentation and service.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed every time.
  • Efficiently work in Controlling inventory, monitoring revenues and modifying procedures and prices
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant
  • Recruit and train new staff.
  • Make schedule and review job contributions.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Actively participate in restaurant’s financial objectives by forecasting; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures, and by initiating other corrective actions.
  • Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering.
  • May need to supervise 5-10 people.

    • Conduct performance reviews
    • Organize and maintain inventory

   Working conditions:


Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods. Shift may vary from Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Early Morning, and Morning.
