We’re looking for a Vice President of Marketingtochart the course, develop thevision, and implement the plan that will propel the company towards increased market share and greater brand recognition for Bluewrist Inc. Responsibilities

 

  • Provide leadership, direction and management to the marketing and sales team in a manner that ensures exceptional service to all stakeholders and that produces market differentiation and competitive advantage; 
  • Collaborate with strategic partners and clients to research market needs and identify possible new product solutions; Establish and maintain a strong network of relationships within the industry;
  • Establish clear sales metrics and benchmarks for measuring progress and maintaining focus; create a companywide marketing reporting function that can track, measure and analyze performance;
  • Translate Bluewrist’s goals into effective integrated marketing and sales strategies and campaigns for global market, product lines, and customer segments that support the achievement of quarterly and annual goals;
  • Build and lead a marketing organization that delivers against marketing goals, with clearly defined roles, career paths, succession plans, and employee success strategies;
  • Ensure the Marketing and sales function scales through successful cross-collaboration with Strategy, Product, and Services leadership;
  • Develop and manage a global marketing and sales budget, establish goals and objectives for all marketing activity; track and report on KPIs,measuring and optimizing marketing programs to ensure activities are effective and efficient; 
  • Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning;

 

Skills and Experience 

  • 10+ years of sales and marketing experience with relevant channel management experience, sales and marketing experience in Saas is an asset; 
  • Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing leadership experience in a high-growth technology company;
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred;
  • Strong leadership skills, able to lead change, mentor and motivate individuals;
  • Great track record of hiring and growing sales teams and ability to do so with speed;
  • Hands-on experience strategizing and negotiating complex sales deals;
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic/conceptual level and at a detailed, operational level
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals;
  • Engaging leadership style that builds and sustains credibility with staff, colleagues, clients and other stakeholders;
  • Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing, sales and market development and planning;
