GOLD LINK HOMES LTD. located at 12935 Helston Cr., Surrey, BC, V3V 6T6 is currently looking for 5 CARPENTERS to join their team as soon as possible.
Full-time, Permanent position @$29 / hour for 40 hours/week with 4% Vacation pay as BC’s Employment Standards. Various work locations as per company’s contracts. English is the required language. 3 to 4 years of experience and completion of high school is required.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines, Large workload, Walking, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods.
Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold.
Job duties:
Following blueprints and building plans to meet clients’ needs.
Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows and moldings
Measuring, cutting or shaping wood, wood substitutes and other materials
Constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors and doorframe
Erecting, leveling and installing building framework
Inspecting and replacing damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
Instructing and directing laborers and other construction helpers
May estimate costs and materials
