Position Details:

Position: Fence Installer

Number of positions: 2

Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $24.00 per hour

Work location(s): Various Locations in Abbotsford and other Lower Mainland areas in BC as per company’s contracts with its clients

Job duties: 

• Read blueprints, drawings, or work order specifications to plan layout and installation procedures. 
• Measure and lay out fence lines and mark posthole positions, following instructions, drawings, or specifications
• Dig post holes in which the fencing will be positioned.
• Set metal or wooden posts in upright positions in postholes and align posts using plumb bobs or levels.
• Mix and pour concrete around bases of posts, or tamp soil into postholes to embed posts
• Join, raise, and secure segments of the fence in place.
• Install, repair, and service fencing and decks using hand and power tools.

Position Requirements:

• Some Secondary School education is required.
• Minimum 6 months of related work experience is required, and, on the job training will be provided.
• Functional English is required
