Specific Skills
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food; Supervise and check assembly of trays; Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys; Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; Estimate and order ingredients and supplies; Ensure food service and quality control; Hire and train staff with the assigned job duties to serve and maintain food quality standards; Develop new policies and advise to improve menus, recipes, cost.; Ensure the use of fresh vegetables, and meat to maintain the essence of authentic South Indian restaurant.; Must have knowledge of the establishment’ culinary genres.; Prepare food order summaries for chef and cook.

Address customers' complaints or concerns; Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures; Prepare budget and cost estimates; Establish methods to meet work schedules
