Purba Woodworking Ltd. located in Delta BC is looking for Carpenter Helper to join our team. We are seeking motivated and hard-working individual who will complement our team.

Job Duties

• Assist carpenters and help them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities.
• Load and unload wooden materials and move materials to work areas.
• Sand wooden surfaces and polish/strain finished products.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of cabinets and kitchens in residences and other commercial establishments.
• Clean and prepare surfaces.
• Remove rubble and other debris at work sites
• Follow directions and stay on task to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform other activities as directed.

Ideal Candidate must have

• Some work experience as a construction laborer would be an asset.
• Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
• Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time.

Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00 per hour

Number of positions: 1

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Site Environment: At heights, Confined spaces, Noisy, Dusty

Work location(s): 3-11490 84 Avenue, Delta BC V4C 2M1 & various other Locations in Lower Mainland, BC and/or as per company’s contracts
