OFFICE ADMIN ASSISTANT

MP Accounting

MP Accounting and Finance Services Inc is an incorporated company in Canada. Our core practice includes financial statements for Canadian Corporations, Partnership, Proprietorship, Charity, Not-for-Profit organization; computerized accounting in book-keeping and tax returns; payroll services; projected financial statements; WSIB returns; Canadian taxation services for Corporate Taxation & Returns, Personal Tax Returns, Charity Tax Returns, Not-for-Profit organization, HST Returns; Canada revenue agency correspondences; tax planning; and tax advice.

We are presently seeking a bookkeeper to join our team.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Completion of secondary school
  •  Experience will be required.
  • Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
  • Must have knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft word, excel, Power-point, Outlook, etc.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate using English language

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients
  • Co-ordinate with other departments and organizations.
  • Organize reports and make electronic copies of client’s information, update recommendations and advice
  • Maintain inventory and order office supplies like stationary items like files, fax papers, printer papers, pens, notepads, clips, water bottles, sanitizer, etc.
  • Supervise and train staff, make bi-weekly schedules for staff
  • Answer telephone, email and website enquiries, transfer telephone calls and messages to staff members
  • Co-ordinate with machine technicians, arrange training for staff with new machine operations and new projects for printing.
  • Correspond with vendors and suppliers, place orders for products used in operations.
  • Maintain records of purchases, expenditures, and record miscellaneous expenses
  • Assist manager with office administrative activities and day to day operations
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Greet clients, establish their needs, and direct them to appropriate person.
  • Represent the business by providing excellent customer services.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support activities at job place.
