Job location : Candidates are required to work at various locations in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
Education: High School
Experience: 2-4 years or combination of work and education
Number of Vacancies: 2
Wages : $ 28.85 / hr
Language : basic knowledge of English is required
Job duties :
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
Build foundations, erect walls and roof systems
Maintain, repair and renovate residences
Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
May prepare cost estimates for clients.
