Job description:

Seeking experienced Architecture Designer (NOC 2251)

Micacchi Architecture, located at 18 Hook Ave, Suite 200, Toronto, Ontario, M6P 1T4, is seeking to an experienced Architecture Designer.  You will be working on a hybrid basis at the office and will also be visiting client sites throughout Ontario.

This is a permanent full-time position (37.5 hours/week), which is expected to start as soon as possible.  The annual salary is $48,000 plus 2 weeks vacation time.

The main responsibilities and duties will include:

• Conducting pre-design studies such as analyzing by-laws, building codes, site requirements, space requirements, etc.
• Assisting in the architectural design
• Contract administration
• Preparing Archicad drawing sets
• 3D modelling in Archicad
• Leading other junior designers on the team

The following skills are required for this position:

• Extensive work experience in architectural design work
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related program
• Specialized knowledge in Passive House design
• Extensive knowledge of Archicad, Twinmotion, and Adobe Creative Suite
