Job description:
Naro Upholstery Designs is looking for anexperienced Upholster, who can perform followingduties:
- Using scissors, staple guns, hammers, andthe other necessary tools needed to assembleand upholster furniture.
- Ensuring that all components and materialsare assembled to company's quality & designstandards.
- Discuss & recommend upholstery fabric,color, and style with customers and provide costestimate to customers.
- Replace worn-out fabric, springs & otherparts where its required
- Operate sewing machines and otherequipment effi ciently.
- Install padding and underlays and fasten thecovering material.
- Ensuring that all equipment is in proper andsafe working order.
- Make upholstery patterns from sketches,customer descriptions or blueprints.
- Lay out, cut, fabricate and install upholsteryin sofas and other furniture or or speciallyordered products.
Location: Mississauga, ON
Salary: $22 per hour
Full time, Permanent position
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required.
Education: High School
