At this point, we are looking for a hard-working, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented construction helper to join our team of talented individuals.
Position Details:
- Office Location: 15698 80A Ave, Surrey BC, V4N 0X6 and various locations as per company’s contract
- Position: Construction Helper (NOC: 7611)
- Number of positions: 10
- Terms of employment: Full-Time, permanent
- Wages: $21.00/hours and 40 hours/week
- Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
- Benefits: Medical insurance for first three months and relocation expenses will be covered if requested.
Position Requirements:
- High School Education is required
- Experience is an asset
- Positive and cooperative attitude
Job duties:
- Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas
- Clean and prepare surfaces.
- Mix, pour and spread materials.
- Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel.
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment.
- Clean up chemical spills and remove hazardous materials
- Take care of construction equipment
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
