Permanent Position: Autobody Repairer Helper (NOC #7612)

Company: Pushap Auto Body & Interior Repair Ltd.

Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible.

Location: Unit-101, 30791 Simpson Rd Abbotsford, BC V2T 6X4

Wage Rate: $21 Hourly, for 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, day, morning, weekend, overtime if required.

Education: No Education Required.

Experience: No Experience Required. On job training will be provided.

Languages: Basic knowledge of English.

Job Duties:

• Move tools, equipment and other materials
• Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Help in replacing front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components,
• Help in filling, grinding, and sanding body surfaces to be repaired,
• Help in masking and taping auto body surfaces in preparation for painting,
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place,  
• Using plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure

Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory.

Weight Handling: Up to 23 Kg (50 lbs)

Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants.
