Job Description
Amtek Electric Ltd. is an electric contractor incorporated in BC. We lay out, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures in residential and commercial building all over Lower Mainland. Currently, we are looking for 04 Electrical appliance installers to work for the company on full-time and permanent bases.
Job Duties
Install, service, troubleshooting, test a wide variety of interior and exterior electrical appliances at residential or commercial properties
Consult customer or refer to work order to establish nature of the appliance malfunction
Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
Load and unload materials from a vehicle to establishments
Replace worn and defective parts such as switches, bearings, belts, circuit boards, or defective wiring
Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
Install, repair and service interior water heaters and household appliances using hand and power tools
Observe operation of appliance and conduct voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical test equipment
Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals and replace or repair parts or components
Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment
Maintain stocks of parts used in on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances
Skill Requirements
Completion of high school is required
No prior experience necessary. On-the-job training is provided
Satisfactory communication skills in English are required
Willing and able to perform physically demanding work including the ability to lift up to 50lbs

Benefits
4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
