Atlantic Gateway Network Inc is looking for two talented Website Editors who can help us achieve success in building high-traffic websites.
Job Details:
Job Title: Website Editor
Positions Available: 2
Business and Work Location: Halifax Region, NS, Canada
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $28-32 per hour (to be negotiated) depending on experience
The Web Site Editors will:
- Create, write, and edit web pages incorporating keywords and phases
- Post daily comments, images and respond to posted comments
- Develop and lead content strategy to build audience and increase engagement across site and newsletters
- Take a point role gathering, verifying and confirming news
- Proactively research and analyze information on news section and regularly develop knowledge
- Oversee layout and check content for accuracy and errors
- Demonstrate initiative to improve and supplement different sections of the web sites in alignment with targeted audience
- Collect and analyze feedback and make changes in contents and style if necessary
- Work with marketing staff to prepare promotional materials for both company and clients
- Meet deadlines and budget requirements
- Maintain and organize relevant documents
- Execute other tasks as required
Employment requirement:
- Language: English and Chinese
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Chinese language reading and writing is required
- Related work experience, SEO writing experience and knowledge of photography, video experience is great asset
- Experience in online media and social media account management is an asset
