About us

Pho Hoan Pasteur is a noodle house serving quality, authentic Vietnamese fare in Calgary and Edmonton since 2005. We specialize in pho, vermicelli bowls, and rice plates. We also serve a variety of appetizers and drinks.

 

You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas and make the areas clean
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods according to the restaurant’s procedures and standards
  • Give suggestions on menus and size of food portions
  • Monitor and order supplies
  • Establish work schedules for fellow co-workers
  • Train new kitchen staff
  • Take on different duties is staff is absent
  • More duties might be included if needed

  

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Secondary School
  • Have 3 years experience as a cook in a restaurant or hotel setting

 

Specific Skills:

  • Culinary training or certification preferred
  • Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • Have knowledge of Asian cuisine, especially Vietnamese cuisine
  • Able to communicate in English
  • Thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation
  • Able to handle high volume of customer
  • Ability to manage kitchen independently
