Job Description
Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
Interview, Recruit, Train employees and contractors; ramp-up sub-contractors during summer and fall months.
Responsible for Financial management of projects, recognizing business opportunities and putting together bids to win new business as well as negotiating and agreeing contracts.
Represent the organization to lenders and clients.
Work with Sales team to ensure consistent flow of new projects.
Oversee contracts and negotiating revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Work with external vendors to establish effective solutions and long-term partnerships in involving service levels agreements.
Represent the company, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company, in negotiations or other official functions or on matters such as business services and union contracts negotiation.
Directing the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions and estimating the project budgets.
Work in conjunction with other managers, focusing on specific elements or aspects within each project while being a part of all phases, including planning onset until completion.
Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Own the responsibility for quality and timely delivery of projects with maximum utilization of machinery and manpower.
Devise Monthly/Yearly Sales forecasts and schedules to meet desired targets by developing comprehensive business strategies covering Finance, Marketing, Operations and Sales for company’s projects.
Co-work with the Director to develop client portfolio, solicit potential big customers, assist to negotiate and finalize new long term contracts, retain and renew old contracts.
Supervise all safety aspects for employees, clients premise and contractors.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelors degree is required
Minimum 5 years of experience as a middle/senior manager in construction or real-estate sector
