GENERAL MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Manage and lead managers to schedule jobs, crews, equipment, and routing to meet all customer commitments with a realistic plan.
- Derive the operations supervisors to complete scheduling with enough time left in the work day for Coordinators to communicate start times with customers for all business lines.
- Responsible for meeting financial targets (Key measurements and benchmarks distribution & labor costs, meeting daily required percentage on billing against labor)
- Provides leadership, support, motivates, directs and retains high caliber staff.
- Promotes "total customer satisfaction" (delivery, quality etc.) within all Operations teams
- Identifies and solves critical operational problems.
- Develop Operational strategies, fiscal Operating plans and budgets, departmental goals & objectives etc.
- Determines departmental staffing requirements as part of Operational planning/budgeting.
- Initiate advanced fulfillment and logistics programs to improve operations.
- Integrate the technology, quality, purchasing and logistics functions to support services, cost and process excellence.
- Creating a talent and labor management process in coordination with HR to ensure that the right resources are in place.
- Develop standard operating procedures and best practices in terms of material management and contract performance monitoring in order to optimize cost, quality and delivery time.
- Obtains profit contribution by managing staff and accomplishing business objectives.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: General Manager - Financial, Communications and other Business services
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years or more.
Education Required: Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the related field is required

COMPENSATION & HOURS:
Salary: $64.00 CAD Per Hour
Working hours: Minimum 35 hours per week
Overtime Rate: $96 per hour starting after 44 hours per week
Holiday pay: 4% of gross pay
