Permanent Position: Renovation Helper (NOC 7611)

Work Location: Candidate is required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, as per company contracts.

Wage rate: $20 per hour (40 hours per week)

Education:  No Education Required

Experience: No Experience Required.

Language: Basic Knowledge of English.

Job Duties: 

• Load and unload construction materials and move materials at renovation sites.
• Assist in renovating houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Clean surfaces and mix compounds for filling joints and smoothing out surfaces.
• Clean the work area after the shift.
• Handover drywall sheets and other material used for installation.
• Mix, pour and spread materials to be used at renovation sites.
• Perform other duties as directed by installers or manager.
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch, for long periods.
• Able to lift heavy weight.

Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.

Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.

Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants.
