Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $14/hourly ,30-40 hours per week
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Handle and store cleaning products
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- Assist kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks
- Put away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places
- Pack take-out orders as needed.
- Remove garbage, replace garbage bags, and wash garbage cans.
- Mop and sweep the kitchen areas as required.
- Store ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Proven experience helping in kitchen settings.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- The ability to safely use kitchen equipment and appliances.
- Sound knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
