Role Description
- Develop and monitor policies and procedures for operation of services
- Address and resolve problems such as customers' complaints or supply shortage concerns
- Train staff in job duties, monitor the sanitation, safety procedures and company policies
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures of work for all the staff members
- Keep the updated records of stock of food supplies, everyday sales and wastage
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Check staff punctuality and monitor staff performance
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Ensure quality of products meets established standards
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
- Inspect foodstuff at regular intervals to ensure standards of quality are met
- Select and hire food service staff and help in the design of policies and procedures required to plan financials
- Provides advice and may oversee standardization of recipes, menu preparation, portion & cost.
Role Eligibility
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
- Any experience as food service supervisor is an added advantage
- Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast paced environment
- Ability to supervise 1-2 people
- Good English communication and writing skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
- Effective interpersonal skills, team player, self-motivated, problem solver & guest focused.
Salary & hours
$14.00 to $17.00 / hour (To be negotiated)
35 to 48 hours / week
Location - Morden, MB R6M 1G3
