Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Salary:$17 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: 970 Smithe St. Vancouver B.C.

Education: No formal education required

Experience: 2 years of experience required

Languages: Written and Spoken English is required

Duties:

• • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare and cook special meals for customers as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • Supervise kitchen helpers
  • Oversee kitchen operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Set up and oversee buffets
  • Clean kitchen and work areawith the chef - plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • Train kitchen staff.
