Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable garage mechanic specializing in hydraulic systems to keep our vehicles and light-duty equipment in good working order. We offer a competitive salary.

Job Duties

  • Respond immediately to repair orders
  • Review repair request and diagnose in a timely manner – advise/discuss any major expenses/repairs with the appropriate manager for approval
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, chassis lubrication, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and install replacement parts such as batteries, belts, hoses, etc.
  • Identify, define and perform preventative maintenance via scheduling to promote stability of fleet vehicles and light equipment
  • Examine completed repairs for safety, completeness and ensure problems have been resolved; perform road tests if appropriate to work that was done
  • Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records, and be prepared to update and respond to customer inquiries concerning the repairs
  • Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
