We will provide:

- Minimum of 35 hours/ week throughout your employment period

- Paid Vacation of 2 Weeks each year or 4% of salary

- Pay at $27.50 per hour

 

Duties

  • Updating of office records and databases that contain personnel, financial, and office data. Processing and filing invoices, purchase orders and other contracts.
  • Ensuring smooth flow of information within the various departments (HR, Fleet, and Marketing) to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Provide assistance with different budgeting and bookkeeping activities.
  • Perform various purchasing functions; review and/or prepare packages for transportation of goods; oversee the approval of customers
  • Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of delivery methods and procedures; recommend, within departmental policy, appropriate service and staffing levels.
  • Perform a variety of personnel administration functions; review employee evaluations; ensure accuracy and completeness; review formal documents including invoices, purchase orders, and terminations.
  • Responds to customer inquiries regarding the new shipment policies and procedures.
  • Organize and maintain all electronic and hardcopy documentation, including bill of ladings, log books, and office related documents.
  • Oversee and participate in the development and administration of the annual budget; participate in the forecast of funds needed for staffing of drivers, truck maintenance, and other supplies; monitor and approve expenditures; implement adjustments.
  • Manage internal staff relations and maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment

 

 

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Secondary (high) school required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Two Years of Office experience is required.
  • Ability to work legally in Canada
