We specialize in building new houses, commercial buildings and do complete renovations. Currently, we are looking for competent and professional carpenters to join our team.

Position Details

Job Type: Full time; Permanent

Number of Positions: 2

Salary: 29.00 per hour

Expected start date: As soon as possible

Work locations: Various locations in Lower Mainland in BC and/or as per company’s contracts with its clients

Work Conditions and Physical capabilities: Physically demanding

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Precisely measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, build walls, and install partitions.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Finish surface of woodwork in houses and other buildings, using hand tools and paneling.
• Work on new projects, remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
• Supervise other construction workers in the team

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

• Completion of high school.
• Completion of two- to four-year apprenticeship program or minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in trade

• Trade certification would be an asset but not mandatory

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
• Positive and cooperative attitude
• Personal integrity and sense of responsibility
