One of the busiest Japanese restaurants, 1188789 B.C Ltd (dba. Sushi Mori Japanese Restaurant) located at beautiful Surrey, BC is currently looking for qualified full time Sushi cooks.

1) Position: Sushi cook (available: 2)

• Wage: $17/hour
• Types: Full-time, Permanent
• Working hours: 8 hours/day (40 hours/week)
• Benefits: 4% vacation pay of gross income, gratuities
• Job opens to Youth, Veterans, Newcomers to Canada, Older workers, Visible monitors, Indigenous people

2) Job requirements:

• 1 ~ 2 years of cooking experience in relevant area or completion of program in cooking
• Completion of high school
• Language at work: English

3) Job duties:

• Prepare and cook Japanese sushi food items (sashimi, sushi, maki, roll etc) on the menu
• Plan menu, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Celan kitchen and work areas
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Trains taff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
