Quick Way Kitchen Cabinets Ltd. located in Surrey; BC offers custom kitchen cabinet designs, renovations, installations, and solutions for all related inquiries. We are looking for Cabinetmakers to join our team. We are seeking motivated individuals who will complement our team.

Number of positions: 2
Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $26.45 per hour
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Work location: Various locations in Surrey (BC) and other areas in Lower Mainland (BC) as per company’s contracts with its clients.

Job duties

• Study plans or drawings of articles to be constructed or repaired, and plan sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed.
• Mark outline or dimensions of parts on wood according to plans or drawing specifications.
• Operate variety of woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components.
• Trim joints and fit parts/subassemblies together to make a complete unit using glue/clamps and reinforce joints using nails, screws, or other fasteners.
• Smooth surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
• Repair or renovate wooden cabinets and fixtures.
• Install cabinets and custom woodworking at job sites.

Position Requirements

• Completion of high School
• Completion of 3-4-year apprenticeship program or at least 3 years of work experience in the similar trade
• Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision
