The job title of the employee will be Carpentry Supervisor. The job duties will be the following:
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the work of carpenters involved in construction, renovation, and maintenance of wooden and other structural materials.
- Supervise cabinetmakers that build and repair custom wood cabinets, furniture, fixtures, and related products.
- Plan and establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate tasks with other departments and trades.
- Requisition and manage materials, tools, and supplies as needed for ongoing projects.
- Identify and resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Train or arrange training sessions for workers to ensure skill development and adherence to quality standards.
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, or reassignments based on performance and project needs.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain work schedules, progress reports, and other required documentation.
