Caregiver for Elderly

Job description:

Sandhu family is looking for an energetic and active full time caregiver to look after their mother who is recovering from Chest Cancer Surgery and undergoing further treatment for it, residing at 126A ST, SURREY, BC, V3W 7J9

Salary: $19.00 per hour

Minimum working hours: 40/week

Experience:  minimum of 6 months to 1 year or more.

Position: 1; Permanent, Full time
Start Date: As soon as possible.

Language: English

Education:  Applicant should have completed his High School

Duties to perform:

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Help clients with therapy exercises.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.

• Fix appointments with the doctors and accompany to the doctor clinic.
• Provide companionship to the client by talking to her and always creating a positive atmosphere around. Be plesent and supportive companion.
• Do client’s shopping and accompany them when they shop.
• May need to assist client with personal care and hygiene. (Depending on the situation).
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties relationg to the client.
• Prepare meals as required for the client as per the recommendation of the doctor.

Please note: Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Live-in is not a condition of the job.
