Duration:                             Full time / Permanent

Hours:                                   40hrs/wk

Wages:                                 $23.50/hr

Overtime:                            $35.25/hr (As per BC Standards – for over 8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/wk)

Observed Holidays:         As outlined on – 10 stat holidays/yr

Education:                           Completion of Secondary School

Experience:                        2-3 years’ related experience

Language:                           English

Start Date:                          As soon as possible


Job Summary:

As an Office Administrator, you will be required to oversee and implement administrative procedures, establish work priorities and coordinate the acquisition of administrative services such as office space, supplies and security services for the employer.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures
  • Assist office staff in maintaining files and databases
  • Assign jobs and duties to office staff as needed
  • Schedule appointments and meetings for upper level staff
  • Serve as the go to person for office enquiries and conflicts
  • Assist in managing staff schedules
  • Track office supply inventory and approve supply orders
  • Establish work priorities, and ensure deadlines are being met
  • Coordinate and plan for office services that are required by the employer
  • Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Additional administrative duties as required
