Duties:
Repair, adjust, overhaul and maintain mobile heavy-duty equipment used in transportation.
Check and Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerised and other testing equipment to determine how much repair is required.
Check cranes and other heavy construction equipment’s for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect any malfunctions.
Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly and to find issues to determine what the solution will be.
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturer’s specifications.
Measure vehicle emissions to ensure they are in the proper limits
Lubricate, clean and maintain work equipments.
May perform repair work on heavy trucks and equipments.
