Job description:


Job duties:

The Market Development Manager will play a key role in further business organization and development of strategies with the current business partners to support continued profitable growth and geographic expansion:

l   Supervise and oversee marketing team

l   Refine and implement updated business plans for best fit market strategies

l   Promote our food products and related services into potential markets

l   Analyze market research data, assist in product development, and direct and evaluate the marketing strategies

l   Generally respond to B2B and B2C inquiries and provide consultation regarding our product and service to potential clients.

l   Maintain relationships with production and sales team members to ensure the maintenance of top-quality service and products to the business partners. Assist facilitating existing business relationships and create new ones.

l   Establish distribution networks for products and services, initiate market research studies and assess client's promotional needs

l   Evaluate demographics, prices and marketing outlets

l   Meet with business partners to ascertain marketing goals

l   Develop social media platform to maximize sales outcome and research on buying trends in Asian communities

Qualification:

l   A university degree or college diploma in communications, public relations, marketing, business, economics or in a related field

l   A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience

l   Strong aptitude for visualizing and conceptualizing future market, prospect, and account needs and trends

l   Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

l   Fluency in English and Mandarin, Cantonese languages

 

Additional Skills:

l   Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills

l   Good analytical, decision making and problem solving skills

l   Good computer skills (Microsoft office, MS Outlook, Excel, etc)

 

What we offer:

l   Compensation of this position would be CAD39.00$/ hour for 35 working hours per week from Monday to Friday. This is a permanent full-time position.

l   2 weeks of vacation after each period of 12 months of work or 4% of gross wage.

l   Over time pay is CAD55.50$/ hour after 48 hours within one week.
