Duties:

Construct maintain and repair structures made of wood, light weight steel and other materials.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.

Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, cabinets and other fixtures as required.

Prepare drawings and layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.

Supervise construction workers.

Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.

Repair and maintain wooden structures in industrial plants and mills.

Install trim items such as doors, stairs and hardware.
