Job Title: Truck and Transport Mechanic (NOC 7321)

No. of Vacancies: 1

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: 2231 264 Street Aldergrove BC V4W 2L5

Wage rate: $29/hour for 32 to 40 Hours/Week

Education: Secondary (high) School Graduation Certificate

Experience: Minimum 1 years to less than 2 Years

Language: English.

Job Duties: 

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems. 
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems including structural, brake and electrical systems. 
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications. 
• Perform scheduled maintenance services. 
• Must be able to pay attention to detail, work on their own with minimal supervision, trouble shoot and diagnose the problem with the system.
