JOB DUTIES

OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

  • Compose, edit and prepare documents including letters, menus, memos, forms and other paperwork
  • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information
  •  Proactively assist in addressing customer service, delivery and ensure complete customer satisfaction
  •  Conduct interviews and recruit employees
  • Conduct new hire orientation programs, cross train in all areas of domains and fill in when needed to ensure staff coverage and smooth operation
  • Create and orderly filing system to maintain and organize files both electronically as well as physically
  • Order and maintain supplies and ensure that the restaurant is well-stocked at all times
  • Obtain and update all WSIB clearances, pay premiums and maintain reports
  • Enter weekly cash and credit card sales and meal counts
  • Process vendor invoices for payment
  •  Create, coordinate and maintain vendor supplier information, employee data base, financial and other information
  • Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation, prepare monthly financial information and submit to Accountants
  • Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to employer or appropriate person
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings
  • Arrange travel schedules and make reservations
  • May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities

Compensation & Hours:

Salary: 22.50 CAD Per Hour

Working hours: Minimum 32 hours per week

Overtime Rate: $33.75 per hour starting after 44 hours per week

Holiday pay: 4% of gross pay
