Job description:

1. General Job Description

 

- Location: North York, ON

- Salary: $25 to $30 hourly for 35 hours per week

- Terms of Employment: Permanent and Full time

- Vacancies: 1 Vacancy

 

2. Job Requirements

- Languages: English

- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

- Relating Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

- Workers Supervised: Shippers and receivers

- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Handling heavy loads; Attention to detail; Tight deadlines.

- General Responsibilities:

1) Train workers in duties and policies;

2) Resolve work related problems;

3) Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies;

4) Prepare and submit reports; Establish work schedules and procedures;

5) Conduct performance reviews;

6) Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments; Arrange for maintenance and repair work;

7) Co-ordinate, assign and review work;

8) Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
