Job description:

·        Title of the position: Drywall Finisher (2 positions)

·        Job duties:

• Measuring, cutting and fitting drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
• Position sheets to metal or wooden poles
• Cut and install metal corner beads
• Filling joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Smooth out excess compounds
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
• Exterior and Interior stucco
• Installing doors
• Plastering painting

·        Terms of employment: Full time

·        The language of work: English

·        Wage: $35.00/hour

·        Locations of work: GTA, all over Ontario

·        Skills requirements:
- Knowledge in Plastering
- Knowledge and ability to frame drywall, stucco etc.
- Ability to use Ceramic tiles
- Painting experience preferred

·        Required education:

-Completion of secondary school is usually required

-Completion of 3 or 4 year apprenticeship program in plastering, drywalling or lathing or combination of over 3 years of work experience is usually required

·        Required work experience: 2 to 3 years experience as a drywall finisher or in related field
